1)What is UK?

A)United Kingdom is a country and comprises of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England. It is one of the European countries.

2)What is education system like in UK?


A)Education system is similar to ours because we follow the English type of education system. They do accept our 3yr degree courses .But the courses in UK are more rapid, intense and gives us plenty of international exposure and the best practical knowledge possible.

3)Is it too expensive to study in uk?


A)Depends on the course and location of the university. In general a Masters will set back your finance by about 9000-13000 pounds. But few universities and colleges have come up with affordable fee structure.

4)How are living expenses in UK like?


A)British embassy has put up the limit of 800pounds per month for internationals students and will not include family members expenses. And again please visit British council and local university pages to find out how much it actually costs in specific locality.

5)Do i need IELTS or TOEFL for admission into the universities?


A)No. Most of the universities in UK as of now are still accepting students from India without IELTS and with 3yr bachelors. But the students must have completed their tertiary education in English and a proof must be submitted.

6)Can i work during my education?


A)Yes you can work 20hrs/week during term time and 40hrs/week during holidays.

7)Can i plan my funding based on the part time work i find in UK?

A)Your part time work must only be counted towards partial living expenses and it cannot be counted as the only means of funding.

8)How long will it take to go to England once i apply for admission?


A)It is suggested that you apply at least 3-6 months in advance, to avoid disappointment because it might take a while for admission or visa in India.

9)Is it possible to get a work permit to stay in UK after i finish university education?


A)As of now UK immigration has agreed on giving 2 yrs post-study work visa, during which you can work in a job of  your choice.

10)How much does it cost to apply for visa and is it guaranteed?


A)It costs around 99 pounds to apply for UK student visa, and none of the applications are guaranteed. It depends on the documents you submit and the way you present yourself
